I listened to Scott Ambler’s talk about Agile Software Development while cleaning the floors today. It’s chock full of all sorts of Agile aphorisms and tips all the way from planning the spending for an Agile project to releasing it. In that sense — being detailed — it’s much better than Schwaber’s talk from the same SDForum series.
As with some other Agile people, he comes off several times as an annoying prick, but, hey, that’s par for the course and the info’s worth it. I can see that a lot of software people who’re trying to change how things get done get frustrated after awhile with being nice and holding folks hands.
