Converting OS X Apps to Intel: VoodooPad

At Ed‘s recommendation, I tried out and now use VoodooPad as my personal wiki/notepad/content stash. VoodooPad is awesome, if you have a Mac, and like wikis, I’d recommend it.

The creator of VoodooPad sent out an email today saying it’d be not problem to port it to Intel. As such, his efforts serve as one data point in the question, “how easy will it be for OS X developers to port their software to Intel machines?”:

I got a little bit of time on an intel box running 10.4.1 today, and
it only took me 7 minutes to get VoodooPad updated and compiled to
run on the box, including locating and downloading some libraries off
the internet I needed.

I’m no OS X developer, but that makes it sound pretty easy.
