  1. Cote,

First off congradulations on the new gig. Should be interesting.

I just listened to your podcast here. After getting the part about Willy the winder, I think there is any interesting point about doing Open Source as a one or two person venture.

Nobody has really explained to me how to make money on that. I’m sitting on quite a bit of code here, and I’m tempted to release it as open source, but I can’t figure out how that benefits me.

The problem with the OS model is there are a few rock stars that make it big and a ton of roadies that do all the work, but barely make enough to buy a development box.

  2. The rss feed seems to be missing the itunes tags for Episode 39. Not sure if you have control over this or not.

  3. Feedburner has been goofing up the MP3 linking. The other feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/DrunkAndRetiredcomPodcast) has the correct tags in it however.

Sorry about that, it’s very anoying.

  7. Another great episode, spent giggling in the train like a nutter.

Btw, there’s quite a few “Bill”s in Dublin, but very few “Olivier”, does he know me?
And just for info, my name’s pronounced: O-lee-vee-yeah Han-sal-dee (sorry Coté, no gold star for name pronounciation!).
